MoCo TC Training Schedule

The MoCo Track Club will focus on outdoor track and distance runs in the 2016 spring season. Each individual’s workout will be tailored to their level of experience and fitness, and their target racing goals. Workouts are designed to improve each individual’s fitness level. We will also select a few local races to run.  Our racing schedule can be found here.

MoCo TC Distance Run

When: TBD
Where: Bethesda Crescent Trail
Workout: Come join us for a casual distance run on the Bethesda Crescent Trail. We meet at the fountain located inside the crescent trail entrance in downtown Bethesda. After stretching as a group, we complete an out-and-back run for up to an hour, depending on level of fitness and pacing. These practices are for all abilities, ages and motivation levels.

MoCo TC Interval Training

When: TBD
Where: Location TBD each week.
Workout: During these workouts, we supervise tempo or fartlek-type workouts which help to build cardiovascular endurance and improve your speed. We split up into groups based on current ability and closely monitor each individual throughout the run.
